Fasttranslator introduced the industry’s first fully automated word-count quotation system in 2020, launched 24/7 web shops for certified translations, and in November 2025 rolled out the innovative Transparency Certificate, giving U.S. clients instant insight into the exact quality and production method of every translation. 2025 (November) Introduction of the Fasttranslator Transparency Certificate Fasttranslator USA launches a new Transparency Certificate for all translations. Each delivery now includes a detailed explanation of the language service provided, along with a QR code that allows customers to trace the origin, quality level, and production method of their translation. Whether the translation is machine-generated, machine-translated with human review, fully human-produced, or ISO-17100 certified, customers can now see exactly what they are receiving at a glance. “Transparency is the key to long-term trust,” says CEO Erwin Vroom. Read the press release. 2025 (July) New language added to our portfolio: Tsihluba We expand our language offering with Tsihluba, a Southern African Bantu language spoken primarily in Zimbabwe and Botswana. This enables us to support clients who require translations into rare African languages. It’s another step toward true linguistic diversity. 2025 (May) Name change in Germany Our German subsidiary now operates under the name Fasttranslator GmbH. The new name reflects a unified brand identity across all Fasttranslator entities and underscores our strong presence in the German market. 2024 (April) All our local country-websites are moved to one new entity. Goodbye Schnelluebersetzer.de, Snelvertaler.nl, and Fasttranslator.ca. From now on, we'll all work under the same brand Fasttranslator.com 2024 (April) We completed translation project 540,000. It was a document for one of our regular clients in the insurance sector. 2023 (November) We are re-certified for the international ISO17100 and ISO9001 standards 2023 (January) Implementation of new services like raw machine translation and machine translation with revision by a human translator. The technology has advanced enough to make it part of our offering. 2022 (October) In Germany, we moved into our brand new office in Cologne. 2022 (March) Our automatic quotation system is now also capable of analyzing scanned texts, allowing for instant quotations 24x7 for documents that need certified translation. 2020 (December) We launched the first online quotation system that actually counts all the words in text submitted by the client, and takes into account repetitions. Thus reducing translation costs significantly for our customers. 2020 (February) we added the language Xhosa to our portfolio.
